"Visited for the races and ended up spending most of the weekend navigating the retail park instead. The racecourse itself is genuinely lovely on a sunny day, but the town centre feels like an afterthought squeezed between the A34 and Vodafone's regional HQ. Parking near the Kennet was surprisingly pleasant, though I still can't explain why every route into town seemed to involve the same three roundabouts.
