"Visited for the Carnival of Flowers and yes, the gardens are genuinely lovely, I'll give them that. But nobody warned me the town is basically vertical - my calves are still recovering from Margaret Street. Also drove an hour up the range from Brisbane in fog so thick I nearly ended up in a sinkhole, which apparently is just a Tuesday here.
